On 19th-20th April Mario Bisceglia, the owner of Bisceglia winery, performed a series of tastings for Wine Time clients.
The company’s wines are made from grape varieties grown only in the south of Italy – some exclusively local – are popular around the world. For example, wines from alianico grapes, which are also represented by the company, are exported from Italy by only 31 wineries.
The estate Bisceglia is situated on the lower slopes of the extinct volcano Vulture, in the magnificent area of Lavell. Mediterranean climate, rich with calcium and lime, occasional clay soils - create excellent conditions for good crop yields of vineyards and olive gardens. This district has been known for a long time for its ‘Wine settlement’ - an old farming community.
The exclusivity of the Wine Time offer, for the genuine wine connoisseur, is that all over the world the wines of Bisceglia are represented mainly in restaurants, while meeting these wines in retail networks is quite a rarity.
